Episode 1: New Mission

The Tal Shiar has given me a new assignment.  One that, they say, promises to be most interesting.
My first task: to find a long decommissioned Federation ship, the USS Somerville NCC-1322 a Hernandez Class science ship from the early 23rd century.  According to the information I've been provided, the ship was decommissioned in 2259, 117 years ago.  Why the Tal Shiar is so interested in this relic I'm not sure, I only know my orders: to access its computer core and download the files.  At my disposal is the Shrike class scout Reval.  Small but capable.  I foresee making great use of its services during this assignment.

Success.  Thanks to our operatives in the Federation and their updated security codes we had no issues bypassing the Federations tachyon detection grid.  After arriving at Qualor II we found the Somerville, fortunately still intact and were able to board her and extract the data from the computer core.  The extreme secrecy around this assignment has me intrigued.  What could be so interesting to the Tal Shiar in the computer core of this ancient hulk?  Upon returning to base I am due to meet with Dr. V'ret, a specialist in xenobiology.  Maybe then I will get some answers.  Or more questions.
